Kim Koehl, President

Kim Koehl grew up in Northeast Pennsylvania and has been married to her husband, Chip, for 46 years. Early in their marriage, they moved around frequently before eventually settling into their careers and community. Kim served as the director of Junior Leadership Wilkes-Barre, a high school and college leadership program, for 15 years.

In 2006, Kim and Chip first purchased a home in Florida as part-time snowbirds. In 2023, they closed the chapter on their Pennsylvania home and became full-time residents.

Kim is a graduate of Greater Naples Leadership Class XXI and serves as the leader of the Mediterra Women’s Bible Study and Book Club. She is also an Ambassador for new members of Mediterra. In addition, she has volunteered at the Gargiulo Education Center for over five years, where she continues to dedicate her time and service to the community.

Mostafa Ibrahim, Director

Mostafa Ibrahim is a financial services professional with more than a decade of experience in banking, credit unions, business development, and member relationship management. He currently serves as Financial Services Manager III for Teachers Federal Credit Union’s Naples, Florida branch, where he leads business growth initiatives, member acquisition strategies, community partnerships, and team development.
Originally from Egypt, Mostafa relocated to the United States in 2013 and has built a successful career focused on helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to operational excellence, leadership development, and delivering exceptional member experiences.

Under his leadership, the Naples branch has achieved significant growth in deposits, membership expansion, and community engagement. He is passionate about fostering meaningful relationships, supporting local organizations, and promoting financial education within the communities he serves.

In addition to his financial services career, Mostafa is a NASM-certified personal trainer who values health, wellness, and continuous personal growth. His diverse professional background and dedication to service provide him with a well-rounded perspective that contributes to effective leadership and governance.

Mostafa is honored to serve on the Board of Directors and remains committed to advancing the organization’s mission, supporting strategic growth, and creating long-term value for its members and stakeholders.

Alex MIller

Alex joined the Gargiulo Education Center’s Board of Directors in 2016 and was elected president in 2018. He is the retired Chief Executive Officer of a national sales and marketing services corporation, currently living in Naples. Due to his executive positions, he has previously resided in the Detroit, Michigan, Chicago, Illinois, Stamford, and Connecticut areas. He graduated from Western Michigan University.  He is married and has two adult sons and eight grandchildren.

“The Gargiulo Education Center is a wonderful after school program offering migrant children from the north Naples area the supportive educational opportunities needed to supplement the public schools.” Alex notes that he joined the board “to help strengthen, develop, and expand the educational enhancements for these great children. The children of all ages, from kindergarten to high school, are so anxious to learn and succeed.”

Ole Ramirez, Director

Olegario Ramirez migrated to the  United States from Mexico in 1984 at the age of 16. He worked as a carpenter laborer and spent half of his salary to pay for nighttime English classes, where he received his  GED.  He enrolled into a community college in Maryland only to leave after 6 months deciding school was not for him. He then developed his own business specializing in wood framing for multifamily apartments.  He started with himself and 2 employees. Over time the company has grown to upwards of 30 million in revenue per year and a staff of over 100.  He is still involved in the day-to-day operations, working with national REITS such as Avalon Bay, Camden Developers and Lennar LMC. Parallel to his career he was married and has 2 amazing boys, Carlos, a college graduate with a Major in Physics from Mary Washington University, and Antonio, with a master’s Degree in Economics from Georgetown University. Ole also volunteers his time and donates to various other charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, The Cancer Society and Children NIH.

Debra Hussey, Director

Debra brings over 25 years of experience in serving seniors who live in independent and assisted living communities, memory care or nursing homes. Her genuine love and respect for seniors continues to inspire her and she feels privileged to work on their behalf.

Debra’s roles in both operations and sales and marketing give her a unique perspective and understanding of how all disciplines contribute to the overall success of communities. Her experience has included COO for a Florida-based assisted living company, SVP of Operations for a large regional provider and Regional Director of Operations and Director of Sales & Marketing for the Southeastern Division of a national provider.

She has served on many Boards, in the senior living industry as well as community-based non-profits. Debra is passionate about supporting early literacy for children and has volunteered her time at Girls Inc., Generations, Grace Place in Naples and GEC.

Debra has a BS in Health Care Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an MBA from George Washington University. She is a die-hard Tar Heel fan!

Laura Nemeth, Director

Laura Nemeth is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group at Squire Patton Boggs, a global law firm, with more than 35 years of experience advising public and private companies on multijurisdictional mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities law, commercial real estate, and business transactions. She has also held numerous leadership roles in community organizations and nonprofit boards, including serving for 20 years as a member of the Medina County, Ohio Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Board, with several terms as its Chair.

Jo Ann Del Gatto, Director

Josephine Del Gatto is an accomplished executive with over two decades of experience implementing and leading regulatory and operational compliance programs for companies ranging from startups to multinational organizations, including AIG where she was the Chief Compliance Officer for agency operations. Her expertise is underpinned by a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification and extensive experience in driving efficiency and effectiveness through strategic programs that leverage Lean methodologies and focused goals. This background, coupled with her experience in curriculum development and training, demonstrated by her work as a designated provider of continuing education for the state of California, directly supports the vision and mission of the Gargiulo Education Center.

Beyond her professional achievements, Josephine is deeply committed to community involvement. She is a mother of two and actively volunteers for various impactful initiatives. She was an active volunteer with the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research for many years, assisting with organizational planning and development. She served on the Board for the Allendale Recreation Commission and was part of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) for FEMA. Currently, she is a volunteer at the Gargiulo Education Center and Coach for Girls on the Run, a program dedicated to unlocking the power and potential in girls ranging from 8-14 years of age.

Marco Maccioni, Director

Co-Owner & Vice President
Le Cirque International, LLC

Marco Maccioni is the Co-Owner and Vice President of Le Cirque International, where he oversees hospitality operations and the food, wine, and beverage programs across global locations.

Born into one of the most iconic families in fine dining, Marco began working at Le Cirque in New York at just twelve years old under the guidance of his father, legendary restaurateur Sirio Maccioni. Inspired by his mother’s Italian cooking and driven by a passion for hospitality, Marco trained at renowned institutions including Château Les Crayères, Hôtel de Paris, and Moulin de Mougins and Château Beychevelle in Bordeaux. He holds a B.A. from NYU and a Master’s in Hospitality from Cornell University.

In 1996, Marco and his brothers opened Osteria del Circo in New York, later expanding the Le Cirque brand to Las Vegas, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and beyond. Under his leadership, Le Cirque has earned accolades from the James Beard Foundation, New York Times, Wine Spectator, and Esquire Magazine.

Marco serves on the Food Council of City Harvest and the board of the Gargiulo Education Center. He lives in Naples, Florida, with singing artist wife Sabrina, son Massimo, and their beloved dog Cheetah and cat Lulù. Outside of work, he enjoys beach time, biking, fishing, and family visits to Tuscany.
