Endowment Fund
In collaboration with the Community Foundation of Collier County, the North Naples Education Center (formerly Gargiulo Education Center) has established an endowment fund where contributions to the fund will be held, invested for lifetime giving. This Fund was created to ensure the longevity of our commitment to the success in our students’ future. This fund would allow you to donate appreciated stock and bonds, cash and other assets such as bequests, charitable leads trusts, charitable remainder trusts, life insurance, annuities and retirement plans on a tax-favorable basis.

Gargiulo Education Center is now North Naples Education Center. While our name has changed, our commitment to empowering children and strengthening families in our community remains the same.
Why Our After-School Tutoring Program Matters
At North Naples Education Center (formerly Gargiulo Education Center), we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or starting point. Our after-school tutoring program provides targeted support in math, reading, and speech therapy for students in grades K through 7—a critical time when foundational learning takes root.
Building Academic Confidence and Mastery
Our math and reading sessions are designed to strengthen core skills that serve as the building blocks for lifelong learning. Whether a child is catching up, keeping up, or moving ahead, our instructors tailor support to meet each student where they are.
This helps children:
- Gain confidence in their abilities
- Develop strong problem-solving and literacy skills
- Overcome learning gaps before they widen
For many of our students, these sessions provide the only dedicated, one-on-one academic support they receive outside the classroom.
Enhancing Communication Through Speech Therapy
Communication challenges can deeply affect a child’s confidence and classroom performance.
Our on-site speech therapist works with students on:
- Improving speech clarity and language processing
- Strengthening listening and comprehension skills
- Encouraging active participation in group settings
By addressing these needs early, students are better equipped to express themselves, understand instructions, and build positive relationships with teachers and peers.
Closing the Achievement Gap
Many of our students come from households where English is not the primary language or where academic support at home is limited. Without early intervention, these children are at risk of falling behind.
Our after-school program helps:
- Level the playing field by providing access to professional instruction
- Support English language learners (ELLs) in both academic and social settings
- Reduce the need for future remedial or special education services
